CARE International is one of the world’s largest independent relief and development organisations, working in more than 70 countries and
benefiting over 45 million poor and marginalised people.
They are a practical, hands-on organisation with thousands of
programmes around the world dealing with the wide range of issues that keep people trapped in poverty – from HIV and AIDS, discrimination and a lack of clean water to not being able to make a decent living or living in slums.
They are not looking for quick fixes, but lasting solutions. CARE often tackles the wider systems of government or business in order to make change happen. Wherever we work, our focus is on making positive and lasting changes to people’s lives and reducing their long-term
dependency.

LIfescape is great! hurray to editor and founder Rajasana Otiende!
It combines, fitness, health, beauty, travel, a touch of gossip and global issues from a socially responsible perspective. Lots of great stuff on vegetarian, fair trade, cruelty-free and organic living as well as loads of other great bits. It’s a like an all-natural version of cosmo. It’s a great voice for healthy, ethical living.
There is no other lifestyle magazine that is so fully dedicated to provide resources for vegetarians, be it holidays, meals, restaurants or clothes. Lifescape also sources out shops that are doing their bit to trade fairly, different ways to look after the environment and a general current affairs section.
Health and Wellbeing are covered by Alternative health tips, Astrological advice, Gemology, Yoga and a Practical/Emotional question and answer section. Definitely worth a look...
