Everyone loves granola! Granola is healthy, versatile, tasty, filling and surprisingly easy to make at home. This means you can customise the texture and flavour to how you like it best, giving you a great chance to experiment.
- 100g Hazelnuts
- 100g Raisins
- 50g Sunflower Seeds
- 50g Pumpkin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 dessert spoon of Xylitol (granulated sugar substitute)
- Place the nuts, seeds, raisins, spice and Xylitol in a food processor and give them a whirl until they are coarsely chopped. If it looks like granola, you are well on your way!
- Scoop the mixture out into a bowl or store in an airtight container and leave to settle if you want to eat it cold. If like your granola warmed up, place the mixture onto a baking tray and put in the oven on a low setting and gently bake until hot.
- Thats it - Easy! We recommend serving up your granola with chopped fresh fruit for added zing but feel free to dig in and enjoy the wholesome taste on its own.
