If you are lover of all things plant-based and have a sweet-tooth it can sometimes be difficult to find treats that are tasty and vegan. We highly recommend this chocolate brownie recipe - they are easy to make and super yummy!
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups of Wheat-Free Flour
- 2 cups of Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
- 1 level tsp Sea Salt
- 1 cup unsweetened organic Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 cup organic Chocolate Pieces
- 1/2 cup organic Coconut Butter
- 1 1/2 cups of Water
- 4 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 cup ripe Banana, well mashed
Method
- Pre-heat an oven to 170 degrees celcius or Gas Mark 3
- Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl, inluding the chocolate pieces, and get mixing
- now blend all the wet ingredients together in another bowl, ensuring that the mashed banana is thoroughly workin in. Now pour the wet into the dry ingredients and mix again
- Pour the 'fudge mix' into a baking tin, greased with coconut butter, and dusted with some of the flour to prevent sticking
- Place it in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the top looks cooked
- you should be able to insert a sharp knife into the centre and it should come out clean. Alternatively, if you want the bronies to be slightly gooey, cook it for a little less time
- Eat, enjoy and leave no survivors!
